No, their eyes are different, too. You can see Alice has more that longer "cat-eye" kind of shape and Snow White has eyes truer to her character in the film.dollover wrote:I usually hate the using of the same mold for different characters but they're just both so freaking beautiful. I think they modified the lip on Alice to make it open but the rest of the face looks pretty identical to the Snow White one.

I check disneystore.com from now and then to make sure they don't slip one in there without any fanfare (like they did with Alive and Queen of Hearts).amazon980 wrote:Sorry to Bump this thread but...
Any word on cinderella?
I was also wondering is going to a Jasmine and Pocahontas???
their movies are coming so i figured that get dolls to??
I'm not sure if we're really going to get Aladdin this year. So far it's only really been announced for release in Spain. So I wouldn't really expect Jasmine yet.
However, I think it's becoming a safe bet that Pocahontas and Cinderella should be coming up. I would've expected Pocahontas to be posted soon if the blu release is coming this spring. I really do hope they've decided to continue this collection. My mom and I LOVE these dolls!
If 101 Dalmatians is really getting a release this year, maybe we'll also get a Cruella. That would be AWESOME!

Cinderella is expected to be released this fall. No news has come out about it, but Disney Store has just started doing pre-orders for the movie so I would expect to see the pre-order up any day now.broadwaybrian318 wrote:Is there any word on anymore dolls in this set. You keep making these comments about Pixar supposedly deliberately making Merida "ugly" so that they can boast that they haven't conformed to the typical design of princess characters but when exactly have they done any such boasting? Is there a quote that backs this up that I haven't seen? Has someone from Pixar said that or is it just your opinion that that is what they are doing? I'm genuinely curious whether I've missed something because I can't remember seeing any such comments up to now.Disney Duster wrote:Because Pixar can't do pretty or because they want to boast they have such a feminist princess beyond looks.

Don't you like the hair? I agree that it looks slightly unusual, but I love it.Disney's Divinity wrote:That's really nice. The hair kind of looks weird though.
Duster, the Merida in the movie is by no means ugly. What's wrong with having a slightly off-the-wall, quirky design that fits Pixar's style for humans? It's better than a generically pretty princess.

That doll's hair/face are a lot more accurate than this one:

Jesus Duster, why do you have a need to find a conspiracy in every Pixar-related anything? Pixar has done NO such boasting. If anyone has made any comments, it is the fans.Disney Duster wrote:Why can't she look as pretty as that in the movie. No they haven't boasted yet. I don't think they need to boast. They know what they've got.Dr Frankenollie wrote:Duster, the Merida in the movie is by no means ugly. I think the dolls which change Merida's design to look prettier confirm my opinion on Merida's actual design.

I don't know what Pixar think they've got but you seem to have quite an agenda against them for some reason.Disney Duster wrote:No they haven't boasted yet. I don't think they need to boast. They know what they've got.
Not really; if Pixar do start doing any such boasting then that would confirm your suspicions, but until they do that your's is still pretty much an opinion that isn't backed up by fact (or at least any kind of fact that I've seen but someone else might have).Disney Duster wrote:I think the dolls which change Merida's design to look prettier confirm my opinion on Merida's actual design.

I agree. The head of the doll wearing blue looks more like eight-year-old Anastasia's in Don Bluth's Anastasia film.Christopher_TCUIH wrote:That doll's hair/face are a lot more accurate than this one:
