I'm glad the singing dolls all have an individual look about them; they have all tried to fashion them after their likeness in the movie i presume ? Much better than the usual fare that we get over here in the UK, where you can only tell who they are from the overly-glitzy dress they are wearing.

i wonder what the songs sound like ? Would be interesting to hear ! (Plus the fact they seem to have dropped Susan Egan as Belle ...)

I got an email today from disneystore.com saying that the delivery for my SE Belle is being delayed... Has anyone else gotten this email?

It says that she'll be delivered within 30 days of the original delivery date, but I wonder why there's a delay to begin with.

Probably being delayed by Plastic Surgery on the Mass Production on fixing her colors to be exactly like they were when her film was released in theaters many ions ago (the 90s) :P

I thought her colors might have been off. I didn't have any screen caps from online photos, 18 yr old collector's cards, or my original VHS to compare it to. Overall judging from my memory of the film in cinema's when i was 6 yrs old i could definitely tell she was off.

It isn't out yet. So far they've release Snow White, Tiana and Belle. The next in the series will be Rapunzel. So far each doll has been released when the original movie has been brought to Blu-Ray. Since The Little Mermaid was released in 2005 and is part of the 7 year rotation, the Ariel doll isn't expected until 2012.

Actually, Cinderella came out in 2005 and with a seven year rotation it will be out two years from now, not ariel.
Walt Disney always belived in quality, bring the quality back.

yeah, little mermaid came in '06.

I got my Belle on the 6th as well. I wonder what the cause for the delay was... anyhow, she looks great but I still think Tiana is my favorite. I can't wait until we get our first peek at Rapunzel.

She looks incredible!! But when I click the red pre-order button, it says "product you wish to purchase not available at this time." Does that mean the pre-orders are already sold out or something? :(

They aren't sold out yet. It says that because pre-orders for it have not yet begun. There is no date as to when pre-orders will start (and I work for Disney and have yet to hear anything). My manager guessed that it would start mid-late January.

does anyone have any idea who the next one in the set will be after rapunzel. There are no more princess movies set to be released this year so it will be interesting to see who will be next.

It probably would have been Jasmine this year if Aladdin was taken out of the vault for the end of its seven year cycle. :P

I got an email this morning announcing that the Rapunzel doll is available for pre-order and sent in my order. My guess is that this one will sell out pretty fast considering how fast they usually sell without any publicity!
