I’m so hyped for this, as well as the Haunted Mansion special. I’ve been hoping Disney could figure out something more to do with The Muppets and I think they’re getting it together!

The logo will get customized depending on the project.
Q: Will there be variants of the logo? More colors? Animation? Explosions?

Leigh Slaughter: Absolutely! The base version of the logo has a gold overlay similar to the gilded designs of the Muppets’ theater interior. Similar to how the Disney logo changes in front of different films, there is plenty of opportunity to do this with our new logo.

Q: Where will we be seeing this logo next?

Leigh Slaughter: As you know, our next project – which I’m very excited about and cannot wait for you to see – is Muppets Haunted Mansion. You’ll see the new logo attached to that special is a customized way that evokes the spirit of that particular project.

Slaughter: I think it’s a sign that we have a lot planned for the future and in various stages of development.

ToughPigs: Is there anything more can you tease? What’s coming up next for the Muppets??

Slaughter: We have projects in different levels of development – both large and small – and even some things for our fans. I can’t reveal more than that at the moment, but look forward to sharing with you soon!
I'm really, really thrilled at lots of future Muppets projects!!!!! I wonder why the change in approach from Disney... (Not complaining!) Leadership? "Muppets Now" + "The Muppet Show" have done really well on D+? So excited!
