My all time favourite memorable scene from all Disney movies, and among the top 5 scenes from ALL movies I've ever seen is the Transformation of the Beast from Beauty and the beast!
I get goosebumps every time I see it. Especially the shot with the light that comes out from the hand..

I find that funny. Of all the creepy scenes they could have "forgotten" to post pics of (Hellfire, Bald Mountain, Ichabod encountering the Headless Horseman, etc.), they chose this one.

Yeah- I just figured out what you mean. Yeah, they don't have galleries for any of the package features. No Fantasia, Winnie the Pooh, or anything from 43's Saludos Amigos to 1949's Ichabod & Mr. Toad. Had to make these myself. That whole section I did last was all pics I did myself. Even the Cruella DeVil phone closeup.

Well, 101 Dalmatians is a little lite on evil, so they had to find a way to up the stakes somewhere. The phone that looks like it stares at you all day and might bite your hand if you go to dial it became a natural choice for something to demonize.

Cruella's last name is DeVil and she lives in Hell Hall, though that may just be a nickname...

Well, often they did make things that had animal claws and faces, almost like gargoyles...and Cruella would probably know where to find the "exotic" stuff.

I think they were just making it look that way. That's not what her phone would really look like. It was a fantasy element. It doesn't really go in the story, I think. Just a cool bonus for the movie.

I like to think the difference between the animation and real life isn't very big. I always liked to believe real people could look exactly like the Disney characters, now I admit there are some impossible things, but I still don't like to think the difference is that big. And I also like to believe there's a good, believable reason for everything in their movies.

At least, I always consider there could be a good, thoughtful, sense-making reason. The phone could have been made for her specially, ha. I was laughing because the phone is there and it's so unlikely to find one like that, but I don't think it's impossible.

Not really Disney (more Pixar), but there's a moment in Toy Story 2 that has stuck with me forever. It's after Woody and Buzz's argument in Al's penthouse, and Woody's watching the TV. You've Got a Friend in Me starts playing as they show the boy and the Woody doll, and then Woody looks up. Once it says, "there isn't anything I wouldn't do for you", then Buzz looks back, and sighs. To me that's really powerful: I don't know about you guys.
