darth_detoo, I love your collection!

I'm currently saving up for a glass case to house my figurines/toys/etc, so most of my collection is in storage. I'll post some of my recent, bigger purchases for now. I have the 2006 WDCC membership piece, but I don't have a picture of that. There are plenty online. I want to buy some more WDCC figurines, but I unfortunately don't have that much money and am starting college soon! (The following are both thumbnails.)

A snowglobe I bought brand-new for $40.
Image

My BatB snowglobe. It's polyresin, but I still love it.

Anyway, here's my animation DVD collection, mostly Disney (it's grown at least 6-10 DVDS bigger since I've taken that picture). I realize that the pictures are very bad and blurry; I'm planning on FINALLY buying a new digital camera soon.

The bottom shelf is non-Disney stuff, so I won't post it.

Can this also be sort of a "Post your Disney collection" thread?

Well here are my Disney Animated Classic's. In alphabetical order

Once I get all of them I'm going to put them chronologically with their sequel's next to them. They Range from Aladdin to Treasure Planet.

Sorry for the bad pic quality...my cell camera sucks lol. And my room isnt yellow like the picture lol.

Wish I had it :P
No where on the net sells it
I have a Brer Rabbit plush from the Disney Store from a few years ago- it was around Easter time, when they had a bunch of Disney bunnies.

Although you now I love Disney, sometimes, only sometimes I really don't understand their moves. Our local Disney store closed seven years ago. My sister used to work there and she told me that store was always on the top five of sales worldwide. An yet they closed it. I'd kill for a Disney store to be set in Puerto Rico.

There's a Disney store in Vancouver, but I'm never able to go there, nice collection darth_deeto, jeremy88, brownie and kenai3000. I've been trying to hunt down some money for the Gargoyles Season 1 set and Volume 1 of Season 2. But so far no luck :( I think it's ridiculous to want 40$ for each of those, especially after how long they've been out

$40 is paltry compared to the initial SRPs for season sets of every Star Trek series, The Twilight Zone, and Homicide: Life on the Street. ($130, $120/$100, and $100).

Good point Escapay, but than again anything over 25-30$ is expensive for me, due to lack of money. I've gone through Superstore and seen numerous copys of at least 6 of the different WDT's and the prices are still really high for something that's been out for so many years.

Same here, which is why I often buy things used. Much cheaper that way. Was able to get the complete Seasons One & Two for Homicide for only $14.99. Also, thanks to a misprice, I acquired a new copy of Season Three for only $19.99.

Still, I'm looking into picking up the Complete Series Megaset, because it's cheaper per season that way, and it comes with a bonus disc containing the 2000 TV movie and the 3 crossover episodes with Law & Order. At $300, it amounts to approx. $42.86 a seasons, and Amazon's got it at $192 at the moment, dropping it to about $27.43 a season.

I tried to take (slightly) better pictures of my DVDs.

All animation in the white shelves; everything else is in the tower.

This looks like fun! I've been collecting DVDs slowly over the last about 8 years (since I started working and have had my own money!). I missed out on alot of the releases due to lack of funds, but I'm building my collection more now.

The one thing I wish I had is more room to display my collection! I have about 6 snowglobes, some figurines from WDCC and a Stitch cookie jar sitting tucked away in their boxes because I have no shelf space!

Well, here you go! All Disney on the top two shelves

Image

Everything here is mixed in wherever I have room to pile it

Image

Some non-Disney box sets and my santa Stitch!

Image

The rest of my collectibles that I have room to display
