Wow I am not impressed. That does not look very good. Seen better graphics on Playstation 2 games.

Given that and the poor quality of the CGI work at the beginning of Around the World in 80 days I am getting worried.

Come on! What else would you expect from Disney today? It's not that bad, they're only DTVs. Not anything we haven't seen so far. I am glad to see the Search for Mickey on the board. I heard Bambi 2: The Great Prince was cancelled, why is it said to release March 2005? Holy crap! That's when Bambi is released in Platinum!! AHHHHHHH! This can't be right, cause they usually release one, then the other in a few months.

WTF (can I use that?), is with Mickey's Around the World in 80 Days. What kind of S**T is That!

I haven't heard of Valiant yet. The Wild is an obvious copy of Dreamworks' Madagascar. Wonder why Bug's Life 2, and Monsters Inc. 2 aren't on the list.

I like the list for the Animated Classics. Not many fairt tales left to do, but what I see looks good. I thought Fantasia 2006 was also cancelled! Rapunzel looks horrible. Why is Disney even jupming into CGI? They really have no skills at all with pixels. Just look at the train in HOTR or the menus on the Platinums. Pixar or Dreamworks or even Blue Sky could've done much better. You'd think that Disney could get CGI to blend better with a 2-d look, like in Triplettes of Belleville. It's just ridiculous that they even gone into CGI, after all the years of perfecting 2D.

Overall, I dont think this is at all an official list. I'm split on what Disney's doing. Can anybody at UD read this type? I'd really like to know what it says.

I found a site just like the one written in code above. However it does not list all the future movies, or give pictures, but it gives you the story and voices............

Your right. I wish they'd make those sequels.

Oh gawd, we're all doomed. A third jungle book? The first was good, I've never seen the second but I heard it was REALLY bad and now this?
Personally I think they shouldn't make sequals for half of these movies. If they do, they might run them in the ground.

And wasn't Which Witch a book? I think my friend has it..........<.<

Oh come on, Rapunzel's model doesn't look THAT bad (at least not bad enough to warrent a jaw-drop). As far as the actual graphics go, it looks on par with other CGI features to me - it probably comes across looking more like a video game simply because its a small picture, and its taken from a display on a computer screen. Her head seems a bit odd, but its too early to judge specifics anyways, as there's a lot of change that will happen during production in the years to come.

Exactly right. And we have to remember this picture is just that - a picture of a 3D model. It is like showing a animation cel of Snow White standing still to someone in 1936 and saying "That is the future of feature animation". They might laugh and say it was crap. A year later the film comes out and everyone is blown away.

Now, I'm not suggesting Rapunzel Unbraided will change the course of human history, but I am saying we have very little to go on. A 3D model (from one angle, no less), is by no means indicative of what the film (or the character) is going to look like in action in the final version.

All this does for me is makes me interesting in seeing more!

I happen to be a frequent visitor of that site, and I understand what it says, because I'm Chinese. That site is very informative but one thing is that the webmaster supports Michael Eisner and the DTV movies waaay too much. He even made a series of posts on his site forum that almost said nothing good about Roy and nothing bad about Eisner.

The webmaster claims that the list of future films (and every other exclusive stuff on his site) comes from a "special source". I highly suspect this, but that's what he said.

Also, I found something interesting on the "Hercules II: The Trojan War" page on that site which release date is unknown. The plot on the page says: Hercules and Meg have a daughter, Hebe and are living happily when suddenly Herc's old friend Helen is captured by the evil Paris of Troy, and so Herc joins forces with the Greek army to conquer Troy.

Helen? Friend of Hercules? Captured by Paris? How amusing.

Keep in mind that that "list" of future films has been floating around for years, and the webmaster of that site must not bother to check his facts or update often, because many of those titles are either unreliable rumors or have been cancelled. Yes, even several of the cheapquels (w00t!). I wish you spoke the truth about Bambi 2 though, yoda_four - last I heard it was still going strong. And it probably will be released sometime in 2005, to coincide with Bambi's PE release. I still can't bear the thought of a cheapquel to Bambi - especially after I heard about the proposed plot...

I used to go to The Disney Corner's page of future Disney films to check out their lists. At the moment it's the most reliable site I can give - they update often enough, though I still dunno where some of those titles come from...

Bambi 2, eh? I heard about it. Can anyone give me a link to a site with more info to this project? I tryed magicalears.com but it's down right now for repairs. Isn't it Bambi: The Great Prince of the Forest?

Fantasia 2006 was destroyed as far as I knew. Isn't that why Destino and Lorenzo and that Lion King 2 short were all released separately? I thought this fell apart once Roy left. Anyone got a link more for info on thsi project as well? Thanks!

If you remember from the TV series, Helen was the most popular girl at Hercules' high school. I don't think they were exactly friends though. Jodi Benson supplied her voice.

And if we can get her to do a song, and then Susan Egan, it'd be the perfect movie.

I don't care much for all this hysteria regarding sequels. You guys are sounding like its heretic from Disney to try to make money, when that's the obviuos purpose of any company.

It's simple. You don't like it, don't buy it. But enough of this hipocresy.

Thank you, kind sir/madam.

I've been saying that for years here, but I'm afraid it falls on deaf ears.

Most think that somehow a sequel will ruin the original, but that is impossible. Especially if the original is as good as the fans claim it to be.

As reyquila has so aptly put it, Disney is out to make money. And that means sequels. Luckily, most of them HAVE been DTVs - so you can choose to not look at them at all.

I don't think Disney are doing enough theatrical sequels. Let's start building some franchises here!
