Re: The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse
Of yeah.. so that’s what happened. They also made each short 7 minutes long instead of the usual 4 and reduced the order from 19 episodes per season to 10. Those are the only changes. The original series had some longer 7-minute shorts, as well: -Potatoland -Wonders of the Deep -Ku'u Lei Melody -Sp...

Re: The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse
Will Kaitlyn Robrock voice Minnie here? She has been voicing her now for some episodes of "Mickey's Mixed-Up Adventures". Also, will Bret Iwan voice Mickey, or will it once again be Chris what's-his-name? I assume so regarding Kaitlyn. Still haven't heard her as Minnie, so that should be ...

Re: Russi Taylor (Minnie Mouse VII, 1944-2019)
I don't know how long it's been going on, but I have just learned that Minnie does indeed have a new voice actress. Her name is Kaitlyn Robrock, who has been voicing Minnie in episodes of "Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures" (the apparent new name for "Mickey's Roadster Racers"). F...

Re: Disney Plus (Streaming Service)
D23.com is reporting that Doogie Kameāloha, M.D. (working title), a reboot of the 1989-1993 ABC series Doogie Howser, M.D. , has picked up a straight-to-series order at Disney+. The series, to be produced by the newly-renamed 20th Television, will be co-written and co-executive produced by Kourtney...

Re: Disney Plus (Streaming Service)
I noticed that in Japan, the Goofy cartoons "How To Play Golf" and "How To Hook Up Your Home Theater" are available. However, I don't believe they're available in the US. I also noticed that "Mickey's Polo Team", "Moose Hunters", "The Whalers" and &q...

Does that mean that it's always been like this on the US Disney Plus, too? If so, then it has nothing to do with COVID, I don't think.DisneyBluLife wrote:It has been like this in UK and Europe since the early 2000s that those two sentences are cut. The world is not USA only.

Re: Disney Plus (Streaming Service)
If the version used is from the UK, does that mean that the audio is slightly off (i.e., in the PAL format)? I hope not.
UPDATE: Never mind. It's not in the PAL format.

Theatrical release histories on the Disney Wiki
I had been starting a series of pages of theatrical release histories (dates, posters and additional information, where possible), but they were abruptly taken down on the grounds that "they weren't needed". I thought if the video releases for these movies can get their own pages, then why...

The Three Caballeros: 1944 or 1945
It's very confusing to me as to when "The Three Caballeros" came out. In the past, many sources credited "1945", the year it debuted in the U.S., but now most sources not only credit "1944", but also seem adamantly insistent on it. Only Disney Plus still uses "1945...

Re: Disney Plus (Streaming Service)
I don't think any of the Figaro shorts are included on Disney+ either. Not sure about Chip and Dale, I think Two Chips and a Miss is the only one included. On the Disney Treasures sets, a lot of those objectionable shorts were also kept separate so they would never include them on Disney+. Which me...

Re: Muppets Now
So I watched the first episode to see if there were any guest celebrities, and indeed there were, including Taye Diggs, Linda Cardellini and RuPaul. So yes, this show follows tradition with guest celebrities. I can't wait to see who will be in the next episode. Oh, and Walter is back, too.

Re: Pixar's Soul
You can only imagine what Soul would do on Disney+. You can also imagine how the theaters will react, if "Trolls World Tour" is any indication: AMC has (or at least had) banned Universal movies from its theaters (which is not a wise move given their financial straits) and has threatened t...

Re: Pixar's Soul
Animated films have always been released in June and November and sometimes March, so I don't think it has an effect on Soul or any animated film. It can be released in March with three weeks gap from Raya just like it was supposed to with Onward. However, I do think that Soul might be postponed an...

Re: Pixar's Soul
Given how the release schedule has been thrown out of whack for the "Mulan" remake, as well as the "Star Wars" and "Avatar" sequels, how will this affect "Soul", as well as "Raya"? I know that "Soul" has been rescheduled to November and &qu...

Re: Disney Plus (Streaming Service)
I don't know, there's a lot of junk on Disney+. Some of the early Disney Channel films for example won't have much of an audience but Disney is afraid of a dearth of material so they've been trying to include as much content as possible, which was also an incentive to purchase Fox. Some of the shor...

Re: Best Disney movie of the 1950s?
You should watch this video from Doug Walker, AKA the Nostalgia Critic, about Disney villains: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RiQNWp-fHwA . He delves into how surprise villains came to be at one point. I will summarize for you... The classic Disney movies would harness fear to make the happy ending...

Re: Disney Plus (Streaming Service)
While the public may not care about the Disney shorts very much, they shouldn't pretend like they don't exist either especially considering that they serve as the foundation of the company. The Mickey, Donald, and Goofy ones in particular as well as the Silly Symphonies. Like I said, if the public ...
