Re: Mary Poppins Returns
I saw it last night and lets just say I was smiling the entire time when I was watching it. It's a magical movie that's worthy to be a sequel to the original movie.

Re: Disney Announces Live-Action Mulan Remake
After the backlash from fans, I wouldn't be surprised if disney decides to add songs. Also considering how well beauty and the beast is doing. The movie isn't in production yet anyway.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
Yea, let's hope! I think it should be the most beautiful actress they can get, but you know, it could always be another way - Snow White isn't actually very pretty, but on the inside she's beautiful, and that makes her the fairest one of all. Like JeanGreyForever , I'd say they need someone young a...

Re: Once Upon a Time (ABC TV series)
I would enjoy Belle's confidence if I didn't believe she will end up back with him eventually. UGH. Same. It's nice to see her standing up for herself for once in this show but we all know it isn't meant to last. BTW, does anyone remember when Rumple and Belle last broke up? I know she left him in ...

i know the word 'hate' is strong but i hate it.
i was hoping to see something more like the costumes in Mirror Mirror.
her dress here looks like a rented prom dress.

I like how asymmetrical it is; plus, the West Wing is very definable, so we have a clear depiction of where Belle is forbidden to go. I don't know. I guess I find the off-kil...

Re: The Little Mermaid (Disney) Live-Action Film
I want them to make it a beautiful tragic story like hans christian andersen's original story, while still using alan menken's music. I want them to use the sad version of part of your world which they originally had.

[quote="Zeus was a letdown. He should be buff and ultra masculine, and that guy was neither. [/quote]
I think they did that on purpose to break stereotypes. I was kind of happy to see that he wasn't super buff tbh

Re: Disney's Live-Action Cinderella (2015)
I think they worded it this was because this film also drew inspiration from Cinderella III: A Twist in Time, not just the 1950 animated film. It did? I thought they did as well. Especially the last scene with the paintings on the blue wall. that's quite similar to the beginning scene of Cinderella...

I'm completely sold! I can't wait to see it! Also, the film will premiere at the Berlin Film Festival! Click here ! I find that lovely cuz the 1950 cinderella won the golden bear at the first berlin film festival :) Also one more thing. so we have seen the blue birds, jaq, gus, lucifer, major....WH...

Re: Disney's Live-Action Cinderella (2015)
I just realized that there's a tree painted on one of the walls in the set. A great nod to the grimm brother's version of cinderella. I must say, I'm very impressed on how much research is done with the original material, unlike oz the great and powerful and maleficent. https://pp.vk.me/c621731/v621...

Re: New Cinderella Adaptation by Disney
Unlike the animated movie, which was more French inspired, the architecture and fashion in this one looks more German/Austrian empire-style. I love how cinderella looks a bit like Elisabeth/Sisi of Austria. Although I think I'm more of a fan of the huge animated castle, were everything looked all p...

Re: Once Upon A Time (ABC TV Series)
probably b/c they dont want to confuse the non OUAT viewers who are Frozen fans and are tuning into the show just to watch those characters. its especially odd when you consider that Tangled/Rapunzel was still a pretty recent film but they went totally different direction with that character/story....
