Re: Minor characters you like/wish had more screen time?

Orville from The Rescuers immediately comes to mind.

Huh, I wasn't aware they usually gave the DACs midnight releases. I thought it was primarily Pixar and Pirates of the Caribbean. And I'm guessing the biggest reason they didn't do one for Winnie the Pooh is because it was released the same day as the final Harry Potter movie, which was obviously goi...

I know it's a longshot, but I really hope this gets a midnight release. Disney has done them before and I think this one would attract the older video game crowd. I will be going if it does.

This is awesome news! I love this movie and will probably upgrade my DVD with this release just as long as the release has a DVD with it, since I don't always have access to a BR player. When my high school produced this musical, I played the Dentist, so I've always been partial to it.

Great to hear. I really think they should look into MOD though, especially since, from what I've heard, the reason that the final volumes were not released soon after the other is because they were unhappy with the sales. As a huge Survivor fan, I can vouge for the fact that its fansbase was a huge ...

Final volumes of Disney Afternoon DVDs?

It's been years since we've heard any word on the final volumes for DuckTales, Chip and Dale, TaleSpin, or Darkwing Duck. Any chance these are ever getting released? Maybe Disney could look into one of the several MOD manufacturers for these if they're worried about sales?

The official release dates are set as May 22, however, Amazon (perhaps accidentally) shipped a lot of Guatemala pre-orders early, and many people (myself included!) have already received them.

By the way, I mentioned earlier that I have a "Disney Collection - Volume 1" CD that has a tracklist yet to be mentioned, well here is the tracklist. I've had it since I was very little, so I'd say it's probably from 1989 or 1990, given that The Little Mermaid is the most recent film repre...

Ed Edd n Eddy was a masterpiece, or at least (in the tradition of Rugrats and Spongebob, and pretty much every other cartoon in existance) the first three seasons were, then it went downhill. But I seriously hope they release Season 3 on DVD sometime soon. It's been 5 years since we got the first tw...

Any possibility of a widescreen DVD of Brave Little Toaster

I'm not sure on if it was originally released in widescreen or not, but the most recent release is in full-screen and from what I hear has very poor picture quality. It seems to me like it has a somewhat large cult following on the internet, so Disney can't keep it with a substandard release forever.

On a side-note, I seriously hope this is a Blu Ray/DVD combo pack. I hate buying just a Blu Ray, since I don't always have access to a Blu Ray player.

I would really like them to start putting out their tv movies. The 3 Zenon movies, Tru Confessions, B.R.A.T. Patrol, and Earth Star Voyager. It seems as though they have some big thing for refusing to put out their most popular tv shows and tv movies. Luck of the Irish before anything else, please....

You already have watched the show and you know the 'scripted outcome', why would anyone want to waste their money on this? Seems like a waste of time and money. I have never watched more than one or two seasons of "Survivor". Since Jeff Probst, host of the show is a neighbor of ours here ...

Survivor Seasons 11 and 12 are up for pre-order on Amazon

As with the last few seasons released, they will be Amazon-exclusive On Demand discs, which seems to be the only way we'll be getting Survivor from now on. According to a source at another Survivor-related forum, who leaked the boxart before it went up officially, they could be shipped as early as n...

I'm actually not that excited. Much of the entertainment of Into the Woods came from how suggestive it was, which Disney will obviously cut.

Personally I would consider Hunchback to be darker than Black Cauldron. Black Cauldron is just violent and scary. Hunchback deals with really mature themes.
