I recently visited the museum. It's amazing and I personally thought $20 was fine for admission. No DVC discount, and I don't believe there are any other Disney-related discounts, as the museum is not managed in any way by The Walt Disney Company.

IIRC for The Great Mouse Detective was delayed in the States due to a manufacturing defect, if this is the same I'd imagine it shouldn't impact the Aus release, as we should receive different pressings.

Even the UK DMR site has a wider range of rewards. I've been lucky and have managed to get a few decent rewards, but generally when there's anything worthwhile posted they disappear fairly quick. I'm guessing as it was on Disney Junior that they thought that particular scene would be unsuitable for younger audiences. They cut scenes out of films and television shows all the time depending on the network, time of day and audience.
