They're pretty much equally despised here as Fox News are in America.

Sky Movies: Disney

Just saw an advert for it, although it was announced earlier so maybe you lot already know about it. Sky is launching a new branch of Sky Movies on March 28th dedicated to Disney films. The trailer I saw showed Pirates of the Caribbean, Brave (the premiere film), Cars and Tangled, although there wer...

During this time Disney started using pop artists to sing a song from the movie, which leads up to Tarzan where Phil Collins music/voice is actually used inthe film. That is unique as well. I don't it's that unique. As said I in the 1950s topic, there was that one song that was sung by Peggy Lee (w...

1. Alice in Wonderland 2. Peter Pan 3. Sleeping Beauty 4. Lady and the Tramp 5. Cinderella -Alice in Wonderland is far and away my favourite of the lot, as it appeals to my imagination and curiosity. Maybe it's just because I'm a Brit, since AiW still does well enough here to warrant a stream of mer...

I've actually got a stronger connection to the Walt era films than the renaissance era films despite being in the very demographic Disney were aiming for at the time. Y'see, cinema-going is pretty dear around these parts, and always has been, so I never went to see new releases in the theatres. They...

Some new hi-res promo pics have been released of some other characters and student IDs . ...Randy Boggs? Gees, with that name and look, he seems like the kind of guy who'd blush cutely while sharing cookies. Which is weird because aside from the cupcakes and slippers, he doesn't seem as cuddly in t...

Did anyone who's seen it feel that

Vanellope's princess dress at the end looked a lot like the Queen of Heart's dress? Wreck-It Ralph already seems a bit like AiW in plot outside of the desire to do good, and we have the Ed Wynn-ish character...

I'm pretty certain that the Ghibli line are not subject to the Vault, due to the fact that Disney just redistributes them internationally and didn't actually make them. Also there's the fact that anime in general is pretty expensive. Still doesn't look like an official cover I've ever seen before, a...

See, it works fine for humans and Disney in general, but the Triple Threat of Sonic the Hedgehog just do not fit with those eyes at all!

I haven't even seen Brave yet, but I still don't think I'd like it as much as ParaNorman or The Pirates. Or Wreck-It Ralph, when I finally see it this weekend hopefully.

Meh, still.

Saw it on Youtube. It was...okay. Yes the animation was pretty great, but the subject matter just made it drag on for too long so it wasn't at all emotional for me.

Ariel and her family didn't live happily ever after for long. Something called Tesco which I think is the UK's version of Walmart launched a War of the Worlds style attack on them. http://youtu.be/SAbk4IWoT08 What the hell did I just watch  Typical British humour, that'd be what you just s...

You don't say. I just got the full force of it because one of the people I follow on there is a Disney Princess fan (although she's fine with them herself).

Eh, I still like Ariel's dress. It's the colours.

Man, Sega are really going full-out in supporting this, must want the Disney backing.

Still, he's in ASRT and doesn't take a spot from any potential Sega characters, so I'm down with it.

I'm so used to seeing Ariel in her pink dress that it seems weird for her to be wearing a dress based on her mermaid attire.

I like it, though!

ITV did this to their pre-watershed programming years ago. I'm surprised Disney didn't join the healthy advertising bandwagon sooner.
