Late to the party, but I just got the Aristocats and gave Ev'rybody want to be a cat a listen. And I am absolutely shocked how different it sounds. So much so that I run in here to see if someone else had a problem with it. Not sure I like it better than the version I already have.

I also liked the trailer, much more than I thought I would. Unlike Cinderella, this movie seems like it will deviate enough from the original that it could be a compelling movie-going experience. Cinderella never did that for me.

The Region 2 DVD I have from Belgium is 1,78:1.

You generally lose a bit from the top and bottom but you gain picture on the sides, so the difference isn't that big at all.

I like that look as well. I have pictured how it will look like in my head and I know I've seen a similar style before but I can't remember where.

Will the 101 Dalmatians diamond edition be the square video in the middle of the screen like that trailer was or take up the whole screen or be widescreen? The platinum edition was a squar and I did not care for it. This is my favorite disney movie so it better be done right 4x3 is how it should be.

I prefer the old cover but damn, I need a slipcover! The Platinum was gorgeous and I missed its slip.

I'd be nice if we got the complete score or something like that.
