Re: A Wrinkle in Time (2018)

I saw it and I really did not like it. I wasn't familiar with the book so maybe that didn't help, but I thought the story was so vague and I wasn't emotionally invested with the main characters at all. (positive note: I did like Storm Reid in the movie)

Re: Frozen 2

I also saw it again this weekend! The first time I went to a morning viewing so there were a lot of kids, this time I went in the evening with almost only adults watching. I noticed the adults responded a lot more to 'Lost in the woods' than the kids did (which I get, I don't think kids will get all...

Love it! I hope they'll release Show Yourself too. I feel like that's more of a fan favorite than Into the Unknown.

Re: Top 10 Animated Films (WDAS and Pixar) of the Decade

Fun topic! :) 1. Frozen (2013) 2. Tangled (2010) 3. Zootopia (2016) 4. Coco (2017) 5. Inside Out (2015) 6. Frozen II (2019) 7. Moana (2016) 8. Brave (2012) 9. Wreck-It Ralph (2012) 10. Toy Story 3 (2010) I did find it hard to choose between Tangled and Frozen, because I have more of an 'emotional bo...

Re: Rank the WDAS sequels

1. Frozen 2 2. The Rescuers Down Under 3. Ralph Breaks the Internet I have Winnie on DVD but still never watched it  Also never saw Fantasia 2000 completely, just saw some scenes. So that's why I didn't rank them. I loved Frozen 2, always liked Rescuers 2 (although I think the first Rescuers i...

Re: Disney Classics that are good but you don't like

The other one is Bambi. I have GREAT respect for it... beautiful animation and backgrounds... but again, it doesn't connect with me. And I find the story a little thin. But I can tell it is a good film. Even the mother dying never hit me hard, even as a child. I feel exactly the same about Bambi. L...

Re: Frozen 2

Saw it this morning and I didn't expect to love it this much! I thought it was a very good movie. Me and my little niece loved the 'Show Yourself' scene, gorgeous animation and song. I think it's on par with the first movie.

Oh I would love Daveed Diggs! He was amazing in Hamilton (haven't seen it, only listened to the album, but voice-wise I thought he was great).

Re: Disney Plus (Streaming Service)

As of today, The Netherlands can try out Disney+ for free until November 12. I already registrered this morning and it looks so good! Unfortunately I have to work today but when I'm at home I'm definitely going to start watching!

Re: Aladdin (Live-Action)

In Aladdin, I never even noticed the lack of a throne room despite being annoyed when I first read that would be the cases in the Making of Book before the film's release. I didn't miss a throne room either! I really liked the ambiance of the sets, they felt more warm and lively that the sets in Ba...

Re: Aladdin (Live-Action)

I saw it last week and I really liked it too! More than I expected to be honest, I liked it better than Beauty and the Beast. I think that's also because I liked the overall look of the sets and design of this movie more than I did with BatB. I agree with the people that said the critics are not bei...

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)

I was talking to a friend about potential casting choices for Snow White herself, and she suggested Gal Gadot. I think she would be amazing! I would've never in a million years thought of that, but she would be so good! I know that Disney must have an employee or two that haunts these forums; ...

They showed far more than I expected! The animation looks gorgeous, story wise I still don't have a clue what it's about  It does give me a bit of a sad feeling (the whole ambiance of the teaser).
