Don't get too excited
Dolphins was supposed to come out this week and no sign of it anywhere. It was quietly pulled from the schedule. It was released as BLUE in France...but who knows why it was cancelled elsewhere...

Re: Disney's "Khoobsurat"
I have a copy...it's nice, charming, and sweet but to be honest my favourite local Disney India film is still Do Dooni Chaar... Later this year they have Jagga Jasoos coming out...not that interested in ABCD 2 but next year they have Mohenjo Daro and that will be one to watch out for! Cast and crew i...

Re: Who wants Marvel to do Disney comics?
I was hoping the Disney Comics app would be a way Disney could release not only great Mickey overseas material drawn in Europe but also rare and vintage material as well. Such as the hard to get Disney Showcase comics etc. The truth is it hasn't been updated since 2012..I get the feeling they have p...

Re: Meryl Streep trashes Walt Disney
Since his death there has been an ongoing, radical attempt by both left and right factions to tear down Walt Disney and rebuild him as a sort of devilish piñata to suit the political or even (as in the 90s) fundamentalist agenda of the day. In the seventies the feminists tried to tear him to pieces....

Re: Does Kniga Masterov (Book Of Masters) DVD have subtitles
Does anyone know where it is possible to get ANY dvd copy of Book of Masters? Subtitled or not, at this stage it doesn't matter..it looks as if Disneys World Cinema line crashed and burned before it even begun...any tips would be truly appreciated.. On another note even though Disney International w...

Re: Saving Mr. Banks
TheSequelOfDisney said Nice! I love Joe Wright's work! It'll be great to see another version (probably one much more accurate, so to say) of Andersen's tale. Yes I agree with you...In the right hands it could be quite promising! And maybe Kelly Marcel is up to the challenge..There was a lot of buzz ...

Re: Saving Mr. Banks
From all accounts Kelly Marcell's script was well researched and also well received .... So much so that Kelly has been assigned to adapt the screenplay for another story about prickly negotiations....Fifty Shades of Grey.... And little Mermaid apparently... http://www.deadline.com/2013/06/shifting-...

Exactly! Its called irony....That's the point ...secretly she loved it...read her biography she was quite a complex character! And in her later years she did confess that she loved the film... Also can anyone remember the documentary that did release some of the demo tapes where she was having a his...

Re: Saving Mr. Banks
I don't think it's entirely fair to dismiss this film as based on lies as someone remarked when quite obviously it is based on an actual series of meetings between the author and the producer... Minutes and tapes were made of all story meetings between the Shermans, Da Gradi, Walsh and Disney and so...

Re: Disney preps 'Lone Ranger' remake
Every time a western themed movie comes out from Disney ...there is the glimmer of hope that it might spawn an e ticket ride in Frontierland ...As they are few and far between I was hoping the Lone Ranger would fill the vacuum and re-invent at least a section of Frontierland.....but for now it doesn...

Re: BREAKING: Pixar to Release a Sequel Every Other Year
I think Bugs alive is one of the better films, I've never understood why a lot of people don't like it. Regardless I find it a bit strange that a studio that has built a reputation on originality would factor in sequels as part of the game plan...I just hope that if they do they bring more to the ta...

rodis said So you're willing to compromise on the quality, so long as it's not coupled with the sequel? The 2002 DVD was not stellar to begin with, in terms of the film's transfer. I'm not gonna watch any of the sequels (unless I have a lot of spare time and patience for that) but I don't mind them ...

One thing that might persuade me is if they have some decent extras especially on Hunchback blu... :) It is certainly deserving of some decent special features ... Are they charging extra by throwing in the sequel though? I noticed that Treasure Planet blu is a little less than 20 bucks at amazon.co...

The_Iceflash wrote Seriously? This makes so sense. lol for me it does...thats why I suggested its a 'personal' thing...I worked on almost all of those darn number two direct to dvd movies and they all bring back very awful memories for me...I also had to sit through Sharon Morrill's mindless drivel...
