Oh, their fragile little minds; what's a parent to do? Take them to detox at Mommy & Me?

I'm glad to see some of the less popular titles get a blu upgrade. I actually enjoy Treasure Planet, and I don't care who dislikes that movie. Really--what is the problem with that movie? I hear people carp about it all the time, but they never say what their actual problem with it is. May I ask a q...

I don't see why it's so ridiculous. In fact, they probably are planning such a thing. They are slowly but surely digitally restoring their entire library for hi-def usage; blu-ray releases of that work seem like no-brainers to me.

Personally, I can't stand most of their sequels, and I never watch them. Most of them made me literally fall asleep anyway (Bambi II, Jungle Book II...I never even got through them!) The only ones I can stand are the Lilo and Stitch series, and that's only because they were actually as funny and ent...

So...will it be on BluRay while they're at it? I'm getting really SICK of Disney releases that are only made available on standard def.

I think they forgot how to market to collectors. Used to be--you'd walk into the Disney Store and they'd be selling animation cels and other collectibles for older fans. Nowadays they only seem able to sell merchandise to five-year-old little snips who want to grow up to be princesses. (Yeah, right,...

I have a bad feeling that Toad & Ichabod is far down the list of flicks Disney wants to restore for BluRay, but...it would be nice.

Poppins should be done right...there's soooo much that needs to be fixed, IMO. I know during "Jolly Holiday" there's those bunnies that jump around behind Bert...they're transparent! "Babes in Toyland" is another personal favorite (I can't help it if no one else likes it!" T...

I had the Ludwig narration from an old, old vhs version of "Beanstalk." Has the Sterling Holloway version ever been made available on home video? In the 70s I had a book/record version of it that had the Holloway narration--much superior to Ludwig's IMO.

I believe you; I"m just saying that over time the cast member/guest policies seem to have disintegrated. For whatever reason, I do know that the crowd control people were never, never, never as intrusive as they were last week. It's just a very different atmosphere at that park lately.

I agree with everything you said. Those may very well be the cause of the crankiness I noticed last week. My most previous trip was I think Fall of 2007; didn't hear anybody yelling that day. It was a perfect day. So I think it's pretty much a recent (unfortunate) development. Management also must b...

My dear friend, I have been to Disneyland Resort approximately 120 times--which correlates to roughly four months of my life spent at the Magic Kingdom. I know Disneyland better than some of the people working there. After all, I've spent more time there than they have. During the parades and event,...

No one really understands Reyquila's logic... people who equate those who do not purchase with "haters" make no sense to me. Maybe he's just an example of consumerism run amok. I know...just because I don't buy certain Disney movies doesn't mean I hate them. Nobody can like every single f...

That's not a parade! It's their celebration street party. And yeah, you can't cross the road when a parade is coming through. That's common sense. I hate when people get so angry at Disney for having entertainment. You know how to avoid it? Grab a times guide on your way in and just don't be on Mai...

Ah. Reyquila. I recall you from a few years back. You used to show off by bragging about your purchases, and you would perpetually demean others as being impoverished simply because they wouldn't shell out $20 for a new copy of "Fox and the Hound" or whatever. I still don't understand your...

Well, it would probably uglify the parks too much, but they should create pedestrian tunnels or ramps so that people can simply get around those pesky parades. Sometimes I love the parades; sometimes I think they're just kinda dumb. The one I saw last Friday...all I recall from it really is Peter Pa...

I have everything except: Saludos Amigos: I would get it, but they cut out footage of Goofy smoking. When Disney gets over themselves on this issue, I'll get the movie. Chicken Little: I just don't think I'd enjoy it. There's something very off-putting about this movie, from what I've seen. I pretty...

My Disneyland Resort Report...

Went to Disneyland Resort on Friday the 27th. Pretty crowded but not too. We went to California Adventure briefly and then on to Disneyland around 2pm. That was my first trip to California Adventure. We didn't have a chance to see much. I did enjoy the Toy Story interactive ride. It's a big hit with...

Harry Potter

It's so dumb; the Harry Potter park will open just in time for the last movie to come out. Afterwards, kids will care less and less about it. They're already on to "Twilight" anyway lol. I don't think the park will be a flop, but it will hardly matter to Disney in the long run. Disney has ...
