http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMVVIDEO/BUH0132701.JPG This has just been posted onto HMV. It looks like it contains about 6-7 blu-rays inside which could be Cars, Ratatouille, WALL•E, A Bug’s Life, Monsters, Inc, Finding Nemo and the Pixar Shorts - Vol 1. Its probably more likely than not a collection of all their films as off the top of my head i carn't think what would cost £122.99 ($202) except a large collection of films. I would personally buy it as although i did buy WALL-E when i first got my blu-ray it would be great to have all the films to ...

Isn't "Digital 3D" just the same thing as polarized? Yep the 3D part is polarised the only difference between this and older imax 3D is that Imax uses two projectors running film prints and Digital 3D is just one projector showing digital which helps combat the double layering effect (whe...

I completely agree. And it is too bad that the movie isn't being released in Britain till 2010, I couldn't imagine having to wait even longer for this movie. I know, we have it 2 months later than the US. Same for UP exept we get that in October of this year. Disney have always done this, they alwa...

I think one thing that makes people think it has that anastasia vibe is the simple reason that Anasasia is heavily disney influenced. Its one of Don Bluth's least original films (compared to early works) and although is good it seriously owes a big debt to disney films of past. On another note i am ...

Re: More Live-Action Reissues? And Poppins on Blu?

Im always a bit careful when it comes to double-dipping, didn't buy the last edition as there wasnt enough new for my liking but i would buy Mary Poppins on blu-ray in a heart beat. Mary Poppins is one of the companies best family entertaiment, in my opinion and if they can restore the quality up to...

Does anybody know if these short film volumes will ever be released in the UK?. Unfortunatly they never released any of the treasure's series after the first wave (of silly symphonies, mickey mouse in colour 1+2 and donald duck) and i would to be able to own these. I could import them but the cost i...

Re: Wall-e bluray UK edition with slipcover?

Comparing it to the Sleeping Beauty blu-ray (which is very similar in terms of design) it appers that the Wall-E Blu-ray cover is printed in matte not gloss. I got my edition from HMV and it didn't have a slip cover either, infact the only disney blu-ray i have with a slip cover is Sleeping Beauty

In the press release Destino is described as a feature film. I thought it was only a short film? What is the actual running time of Destino? The short itself is 7minutes long so no ware near feature length, The Feature film is a new documentary about the collaboration between Dali and Disney. I'd p...
