I have never understood people with this "I'm offended, change it!" attitude. If you're offended by it, don't watch it, but don't try to ruin it for everyone else just because you can't handle something.

They will be released alone, yes, probably in a few months ? A la The Lady and the Tramp II. That was in an awful looking boxset with the original. What was the time frame for The Lion King sequels ? Though I don't think the two sequels were packaged together like cinderella has been. Cinderella II...

When you take a screen cap from an HD television broadcast (possibly presented with 720 resolution) and then crop it and mess around with it using who knows what file formatting, you lose A TON of information. This screen cap could have lost detail at several points in it's journey from HDTV to this...

My favorite opening is from one of the lesser-liked films in the Disney films lists. I think that nothing beats the opening of "Dinosaur". Those first 10 minutes just rock the world. It almost doesn't look animated and everything looks so real . Unfortunately I can agree with some who say...

Didn't Disney do a movie about this already? :P Except an asteroid hit the earth in Dinosaurs . :D This is more similar to Jurassic Park , with dinosaurs in the present, I guess. Which wouldn't make sense, really, considering humans didn't evolve until after the previous organisms (ie dinosaurs) we...

I can almost guarantee the reason they are not releasing TMAoWtP at the same time as Winnie the Pooh is simply because it would confuse a lot of people. I would imagine that we won't see Many Adventures for at least a couple of years.

A BD-50 can have like 10 hours of HD video
I have NO IDEA where you got that idea. But a single 50GB Blu-ray disc can not hold 10 hours of true HD footage.

3 hours is about the cut off.

The Peter Pan DVD release was rushed, and not half as good as it could have been; it has the barest minimum of bonus features, and not even a new 'Making Of' is my memory serves me right ? Just a prime example of Disney mucking us about and sacrificing something that could have been an amazing rele...

They can very easily fit both versions of the movie, all of the bonus features from the DVD and a few more on one disc. There are maybe 10 minutes total of footage that is different between the theatrical release and the Special Edition and with Blu-ray they can very easily use seemless branching fo...

Back on topic.. I really want to see Ramayana.. Sanjay Patels, book: ''Ramayana: the divine loophole'' is sure to win any skeptic over. Now as far as Fraidy Cat's visuals go, I'm all game.. Ratatouille and Cars were both released on Blu-ray in 2007. So we may see re-releases of them in 2011 (with Cars 2) or 2012 (with Brave and Monsters, Inc. 2.) We can look forward to Pixar Short Films Collection, Vol. 2 and maybe a Blu-ray release of the Cars Toons. Toy Story 1-3 and UP will get 3D ...

I get more and more disappointed with this collection every time I look at them. They make a big deal about these being the authentic replicas of the characters in the film, but almost every one so far is off model. Woody's mouth, Mr. Potato Head's pieces, Jessie's hair... I would really love to hav...
