Re: LEGO Disney
Honestly, my wallet cries every time I go to the LEGO section. I love LEGO, but it's just so darn expensive. That's why I've been exploring alternatives like Gobricks lately. They're three times cheaper than LEGO. They may not have the same brand recognition, but they get the job done. As for sets, ...

Re: What If... (Animated TV Series)
My husband compared the animation style to Into the Spiderverse ...is it the same? It looked different to me...? It is different. Spider-Verse was key-framed whereas this was mo-capped which explains the stiffness. Both use non-photorealistic rendering though which is probably why your husband thou...

Re: Mulan Instrumentals?
OK, so I talked to somebody outside this site and got some answers. I'm almost 100% positive the audio used in that video I linked is from "Disney Karaoke, Volume 3" from 2001. He said it even has that horn track playing the singer's part, like in the video. Not sure why that didn't come u...

Re: Mulan Instrumentals?
Heck yeah I'm interested.
What's your source on those?
The Beauty and the Beast "complete score" I found and downloaded sounds super bootleggish and fanmade, probably by muting the center channel like I mentioned.

Mulan Instrumentals?
Hey guys, I asked in this forum a while back about official Disney instrumental CDs. The only ones I knew of were The Lion King and Pocahontas, which had (seemingly rare now) releases with proper instrumental versions of some songs, not "karaoke" remakes. Recently I've had I'll Make a Man ...

What's with the lack of 3D?
I noticed that Disney hasn't released 3D Blu-Rays in North America lately.
First Frozen, then Maleficent, now Big Hero 6. Maleficent had a 3D release in Europe. What gives?

Re: Disney Instrumentals
Sure, the UPCs are fine. There's usually a number on the side, though, that can be searched for. I found one for sale already, for less than $10 shipping from Australia. I think I'll go ahead and buy it :D --Edit-- Some searching shows me that the stock number is DSMCD481 Also, it doesn't have an in...

Disney Instrumentals
I thought I'd start a thread about where to get complete, full, legitimate instrumentals of your favorite Disney movie tunes. I apologize if one already exists. So far, the only one I am aware of is for The Lion King . There is this CD, released in the UK, simply called "The Lion King Sing Alon...

Re: "Weird Al" Yankovic Disney Special?
I figured as much, as far as it never being released anywhere. I don't suppose anyone here happened to record it off the Disney Channel in some form? I've got the equipment to digitize VHS tapes (in fact, I have a former TV station S-VHS player with built in time base correction, tl;dr it's better t...

"Weird Al" Yankovic Disney Special?
As a huge Weird Al fan, I actually had no idea such a thing existed.
But apparently it was called (There's No) Going Home and aired on the Disney channel years and years ago.
Was this ever released in any form? I'd love to see it...

Yeah, because it's totally fine for him to attempt to ACTUALLY kill the Beast by stabbing him, he just can't talk about itDisney Duster wrote:But the thing is I think they only changed the line to be more ok with family audiences and tried to find something that matched his mouth movements.

Funny how that other YouTube video, the person recorded it from the original video.
I'd really love to know where the original clip was found so I could remake the scene myself

I hate to grave-dig this thread, but I was looking for that clip to show a friend and I noticed the uploader made it private.
I never did download it when I had the chance. Does anyone here have a copy of it?

Re: Fantasia uncensored
Definitely! I'd love to see someone on this forum have an uncensored film print, as it would be great for restoration work (and in most countries 1940 is old enough to be public domain so it would be totally legal to do a fan restoration too. Especially since you aren't in the US)

Re: Fantasia uncensored
Today i went on a screening of Fantasia. The Swedish filminstitute was showing an old 35 mm print. The funny thing i is that it was in cinemascope I didn't know that there was a scope version, it was also unedited with the black centaur. I wonder if the Swedish release on dvd/blu ray is the unedite...

Re: Disney Is Remastering Song of the South - Possible Relea
I would be very curious in that extra feature containing the uncensored scenes from Fantasia... as far as I know there was only ever one TV airing of that which was recorded and it looks really bad. Even with remastering you can tell it's a very old bootleg.
Man, I want that bootleg set now.
