Is the announced "Walt Disney Interview" anything up to now never released? It could be something from "Disneyland". Did Walt ever talk about the Latin American films on that show? Scaps As far as I know the interview could be a part of "Walt Disney On Telescope" (Sep....

Re: What Next Special Edition do you think will come next?

Since Pocahontas was released as a 10th Annaversary Edition it could be probable that they will do the same thing to the ones that came after it which are Hunchback and Hercules. In 2006 it will be Hunchback's 10th annaversary and in 2007 it will be Hercules so I strongly believe that will be futur...

As far as I know, every time Disney has put two formats on the same disc, the discs have been dual-layered, not dual-sided. They've done this with some regularity on recent films. Wouldn't be surprised to see Ice Princess do this. It's certainly favorable to getting just fullscreen as with <...

Personally I hate Disney for releasing those pan&scan dvds. But I´ve to admit that before I don´t see a movie on dvd (then in the right format) again for years, I buy the p&s version. I guess that a lot of other people think that way too. But of course that is the problem, cause Disney then ...

The Disney Store story here in Germany is a very sad one. Once there were stores in every big german city like here in frankfurt (where I live). It was fun going there. Sometimes I was looking for stuff like cups or similar, but the big thing was that they had a lot of collectibles (lithos, figures,...

the whole problem with the PE is that Disney themselves changed the original aim to release only! the 10 best-selling home video titles: "The Platinum Collection was originally comprised of Disney's 10 best-selling home video titles. In May of 2003, Disney announced they would be adding Pinocch...

As my favorite Disney film period is the Walt Era, I´d release those animated features as follows. A lot of those edition-wishes have been released by the disney studio (or are in planning stage), but there are still some changes I´d make: Platinum Editions: Snow White (released) Pinocchio Fantasia ...

I know this is kind of off-topic, but when speaking of Cruella as one of the meanest disney villains I always wonder why she has so much luck at the end of the film (I mean the original animated feature, not any sequels/live action films)... she doesn´t get killed, she doesn´t even go to prison. I m...

101 Dalmatians is great because: - it has a great story (dogs) - funny characters (dogs and humans) - great animation style (stylization and caricatures/Layout and Art Direction) - it´s the london swinging 60s (for the retro fans) - Cruella de Vil (one of the most colorful villainesses of all time -...

The idea of a new Donald Duck animated feature is really great. Concerning some of the unproduced DD projects I´ve found some interesting facts in Charles Solomon´s book "The Disney That Never Was": "The Emperor´s New Clothes" - "(1938), a second crew began to work on a vers...

... If Disney were to add two new films now to the list, I'd say go for Dumbo and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, like Jake suggested. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh would be really great, too. For a PE I would add all of the original versions of the "pooh"-animated featur...

Around 1940 Disney was working on a title called "Pirate's Gold" (I think). It finally ended up as a comic book by Carl Barks with Donald and the nephews. But from the start it was supposed to be a feature with Donald, Mickey and Goofy. Maybe that could be something. I saw that "Thre...
