Thanks for mentioning Child of Glass, didn't know about that one...

Researching these releases led me to a blog I think most people who have kept up with this thread over the years would be interested in reading:

You don't have to join DMC to get this MOD of The Waltz King, apparently an Amazon exclusive: http://www.amazon.com/Waltz-King-Kerwin-Mathews/dp/B0069WB6GA/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=IXN3YVHIM4J23&colid=37HBRO2CE2H9R http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/519z0jsc9CL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

It seems that someone at the "Ultimate Disney Site" would be a member of the Disney Movie Club and provide a copy for review. Lame excuse in my opinion.

Lots of misinformation in your post. When Disney releases came to practically a complete halt, this site expanded to become DVDizzy.com and review as many titles as possible. Between myself, Aaron, Kelvin, Albert, and Renata, we have reviewed just about every Disney title that has been offered to u...

When this website merged with "DVD Dizzy" the Disney reviews almost came to a complete halt. Now they review a bunch of non-Disney releases and the focus has changed. There is still some great information archived on the site, especially the filmographies, but it is no longer a reliable so...

Just found the answer to my question in another thread: http://www.dvdizzy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=28022&start=20&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= I was afraid this was going to be the case. I submitted some feedback to Disney about the aspect ratio problem here: http://studio.g...

Does anyone have Westward Ho the Wagons? I see on the back it is "full screen", but IMDb lists it as 2.35:1. Is it pan-scanned or open matte?

A "digital download" is the last thing I want for older, unreleased live-action films. Hopefully they will follow the Warner Archive model and offer both a download and a physical DVDr. It's not a perfect system (my failure rate for discs from Warner is about 1 in 10, and I've got over 50 ...

So is the Exclusives line dead? They've never gone this long between releases.

Yes, but it's $29.95 and that's the sale price and it comes with educational tools for the classroom, things we as casual consumers don't want or need. It should be released as a DMC Exclusive for the fans. Disney's educational products were meant for the classroom, not home entertainment. And they...

Yet another reason not to join this "movie club". Registered orders? Obsolete orders? Will you or won't you be charged? It should not be difficult to find out what you ordered, how much you paid for it and when you will get it. Sounds like smoke and mirrors to me.

My thoughts exactly. I've known of its existence on DVD for some time, but who wants to pay $30 for a DVD with no bonus features and in the incorrect aspect ratio? I hope this is done as a DMC Exclusive. It wouldn't be the first time that educational DVDs were sold there (Bill Nye, Timon & Pumb...

Consider this feedback (not a personal attack): the front page is terrible. There are just too many reviews/announcements of junk I don't care about (non Disney), that it is now a chore to find the stuff I do care about (Disney). I used to come to this site every day, now I probably come by once a m...

It took some research, as this latest title is not even in the Maltin book. Anyway, TV.com had it listed as an episode from the Disneyland show: "Little Dog Lost" Episode Number: 223 Season Num: 9 First Aired: January 13, 1963 From Disney: This is the story of Candy, a very young Welsh cor...

Just to let everyone know how this turned out.... Yes, I sold one copy on eBay. ONE. I was simply trying to cover some of my costs to get in the club. I GAVE AWAY a title to a relative. The rest I kept. Don't ask me how, but DMC claims they can prove I sold that one copy. Now, about the terms. I rea...

I'm not in Canada, and I've never had a membership previously. It's all pretty bizarre. No one would give me a straight answer. They did keep telling me I needed to talk to someone in a "special department", and that they would have to call me back. I went up the ranks of supervisors, but ...

No, it wasn't like that at all. They CANCELLED my membership, without warning, about a month after joining. They gave me ZERO opportunity to buy more DVDs. Even on the phone today, I begged and pleaded for them to let me buy DVDs to fulfill the commitment, but they would not let me. I swear it was a...

DMC horror story

Today, I discovered a mysterious "due on commitment" charge on my DMC account, about $70. I have no idea what this means. I called DMC, and apparently they cancelled my membership, and backcharged me "full price" for the introductory DVDs which I have already paid. Needless to sa...
