Also, don't forget the Arizona Sheepdog People & Places short can be seen on the Old Yeller DVD as part of the 11/20/57 "The Best Doggoned Dog in the World" episode (in black and white, of course).

Well, it looks like there is some sort of problem with this release. Whether it is from the actual print, itself, or, a problem with the DVD, I don't know. I noticed these lines too... mostly on Baloo at various times throughout the second half of the movie. There is definitely something wrong with...

Thanks MCDuck and MickeyMouse. My wife was in Costco on Tuesday getting 007 sets 3 and 4 and she may have picked these up for me too. If not, I guess I'll be buying them on the 26th.

Has anyone seen these at Costco? Usually they have them for about $21.99, but with the limited numbers maybe they won't be getting them. Also, Costco didn't have the True Life Adventures either.

Picked up my sets today at Best Buy for $24.99 each. My Costco is next door so I popped in to see the price they were offering (usually BB is cheaper the week of release, and then Costco is the price winner long-term), and was surprised to see they didn't have them out. They always have a good stoc...

At lunch I checked at Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Costco for these, but came up empty. The guy at Best Buy said they have 3 of each coming in, but didn't say when. I did see a spot on the shelf at Wal-Mart for one set, but it was empty. Don't know about the other 3 sets. Has anyone seen these at Costco....

In the past it seems this was kind of a secret sale that the general population wasn't supposed to find out about. But I just heard an ad on the radio during the Jim Rome Show promting it. The ad said to use the code "jim". That's the first time I've ever heard a radio ad for DDD. As for m...

Thanks for the info on British TV. I guess they have the same thing in Japan (where I lived for a while, but really didn't watch much TV). Apparently the NHK man goes around and collects the fee, even if you don't have a TV. How do they collect the fee in the UK? And how do they make sure there are ...

I also got the new Gojira/Godzilla DVD, but have only watched the Raymond Burr version because I watched it with my girls who can't read yet. It was my first time seeing it and I thought it was pretty lame, particularly due to the editing and insertion of the Raymond Burr plotline. Hopefully I will ...

Not from the UK, so please excuse my ignorance, but what is this "TV license" thing you are talking about? Do you actually have to pay to have a TV and receive over-the-air broadcasts?

I think you've hit the nail on the head here. Imagine how long the standby line would be if half of Dumbo's capacity were devoted to fastpass. Plus, with its limited capacity, fast passes for the day would be gone in about an hour.

I'll stick with my original prediction of $60 M.

On another note, I was way off on The Wild! Apparently my preception of movies does not correlate very well with the theater-going-public's preception

Re: True Life Adventures coming to DVD!

Maybe I just need to get Bill Cotter's book. Does the book actually give a synopis of the episodes, or just list them? It gives a brief synopsis of each ep. 2/8/56 Survival in Nature - How animals adapt to increase chances of survival narrated by Winston Hibbler 2/29/56 A Trip Thru Adventureland - ...

I'm thrilled that these True-Life Adventures are coming to DVD. I look forward to replacing my VHS of these wonderful nature films with DVD quality picture and sound. I do hope this Dec 5th release doesn't delay the Walt Disney Treasures - as expensive as both releases will be - I want BOTH. I don'...

Re: True Life Adventures coming to DVD!

I find it interesting that they come under the banner 'Walt Disney Legacy Collection' and not specifically just true life adventures collection. Could this mean that there could be some volumes which contain other material? Perhaps some of the live action shorts? We can but pray! Hopefully next up ...

I guess I let my anticipation for the movie cloud my preception of other people's anticpation for the movie. As ...

Great Work! Fun to read your thoughts. I bought the set from Disney Direct shortly after it came out and listen to it often. The definite highlights are Tiki Room, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, and Splash Mountain. I also find the Buzz Lightyear track to be very entertaining.
