Re: Worst Disney Film Title? (Animated or Live)
I've looked through the titles and I don't think most on here are the worst titles, they just don't seem to match up with film. Oliver & Company, good movie, but from the title alone it makes you think of Oliver Twist (well for me at least) and the film dosen't anywhere resemble the plot of Oliv...

Re: Disney Animation on Blu-ray in 2013
Guys, With do you think Disney will finally release RETURN TO OZ on BR? I watched the movie not so long ago and I was impressed by how good it was and that the FX and the story hold up like a recent fantasy movie. I'm actually surprised that Disney didn't re-release Return To Oz as a tie-in to Oz T...

Re: The Sword in the Stone and Robin Hood...those little gem
I love The Sword In The Stone, if you couldn't already tell by name. The whole movie is memorable, some scenes do stand out more than others like Higitus Figitus and it's reprise in the kitchen and of course The Wizard's Duel between Merlin and Mim. But, there's a lot other scenes that people tend m...

Re: Disney Animation on Blu-ray in 2013
I wonder why the "G" film rating is on the covers of Robin Hood and Oliver. I'm looking at the covers that are on amazon for the movies. Sword in the stone doesn't have it. I think the G is from a paper copy that you would find in the newspaper ads on the weekend from Best Buy or Target.

Yeah, both The Jungle Book and Aladdin are set to make major stage debuts next year ( Aladdin on Broadway for sure ), so Disney is timing those all to coincide in 2014. also, looks like we're getting a red spine on SatS... https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/580268_10151391469286...

Re: Disney Animation on Blu-ray in 2013
I've found a larger image on Walmart's website. http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/1674/zxghcvb.jpg Honestly, I don't like it. The angle looks weird. It reminds me of the Gold Collection DVD. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51AuxVHn7fL._SX500_.jpg I would have much preferred they used the 45th ...

I've found a bigger image of the cover art for Robin Hood . http://img547.imageshack.us/img547/6703/39619482.jpg Here's the previous DVD for comparison's sake. http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/4975/58479167.jpg I love that new cover. Yayayaya!!! I love Robin Hood! Can't wait for the Blu! So, as it looks now for the US , here are the unreleased/unannounced DAC titles on Blu-ray: The 6 package films 101 Dalmatians (probably a diamond edition in '14) Th Sword in the Stone The Jungke Book (probably a diamond edition in '14) The Bla...

Re: The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Blu-ray (Spring 2
I like this cover, it would of been nice to included Rabbit, Owl, and Christopher Robin, but over all not a bad cover. Too bad that it's not called The Walt Disney Classic, but that's better than slapping 36th Anniversary Edition across the top.

Hmm not a fan of the Jungle Book cover it makes Share Khan and Kaa look like those " funny comic relief sidekicks " when they should be looking a bit more sinister appearing, Share especially. It looks like they just reused him from the Paltinum/40th Anniversary Edition, they might of mad...

Thanks for the helpful list, emotionboy . Can you do one for Bedknobs & Broomsticks ? I'd love to know as well as the Golden Collection/30th Anniversary Edition has a running time of 139 mins. and the Enchanted Musical Edition has a running time of 140 mins. I'd like to know why the Enchanted i...

Re: Disney Animation on Blu-ray in 2013
Knowing how Disney loves to save money these days, they might release all of the package films into one big collection. I think just because of the amount of content it's more likely that well get three releases: Saludos Amigos/Three Caballeros, Make Mine Music/Melody Time, and Fun and Fancy Free/I...

Re: Oz: The Great and Powerful discussion
I never noticed that! Their power just might come from gem stones. Though that in itself I thought was a bad plot point, because it doesn't make as much sense (to me) as witches learning magic or having it born in them. Without their stones, they wouldn't be witches. But were they born with the mag...
