Old vs New
It is a daunting task to review 26 seasons of the now dubbed -"Classic Dr. Who". I would agree that a new viewer does not need to go back in time and watch the classic series to understand the current series, but do not dismiss it entirely. For the new series to even exist today, the forme...

AVATARLAND
My first reaction was not unlike many of the other posters: is this a good fit into the Disney brand? Initially, I do not think so. Granted very little actual info has been released yet so we are left to speculate, but from some of the estimated investments that I have read, between $200 - $500M, th...

I read your e-mail letter Luke and I was sorry to read about all the problems that you have been having over the pervious months with Google. This site is something that you have poured your "blood, sweat and tears" into over these last ten years, and for all of that work it now hangs on t...

Prince Phillip Fan,
So what do you that about the new queue area and the updates to the last scene?

THE INCREDIBLES
I would cast my vote for another Incredibles movie. I really enjoyed the initial story and the ending definitely hints of another movie. I would like to see the family around the same point in time though, rather than the kids aging into the "tweens" or teens. Plenty of story material to e...

THANKSGIVING WEEK
I have been to WDW many times during the holidays, and I did start a trip on the Friday after Thanksgiving one time. No sugar coating it - it's crowded! Not as bad as the week of Christmas or the week after, but it ranks up there as one of the peak crowd weeks during the year. When Disney posts the ...

Classic Who
Part of the reason for the slow sales has been the steep price tag that each single disc story has carried, too. I saw no value in purchasing one story for between $20-30 per DVD. I hope they do release complete sets someday, because it should be more economical than the current format and I do miss...

CLASSIC WHO
That's probably a pretty good guess Net. I always believed that at some point, after the initial restoration was completed, that the BBC would (better yet should) release those seasons in complete sets. I never understood the logic, if there really was any, with this restoration schedule anyway. I m...

SERIES SIX
Thanks for the update Jiminy and Net! If it is only missing a supplement or two, I think I will hold off on buying it and wait for the complete series at year end; which I am glad to read is still the norm. I like collecting the complete sets so I avoid those "in-between" releases. Speakin...

SERIES SIX
Net, I had read an earlier post that there is some speculation that this Christmas special will not be included on a "series" set. Do you have an update on that one? I'd hate to run out and buy it only to have it included on a set later. Also, you mentioned that there will not be a "c...

E-TICKET
I really do not see the connection of a theme in DinoLand. You elude to that fact in your second paragraph- "some sort of theming", too. I do not care what dino type name you give those games and attractions, but they do not fit into a Land supposedly themed after dinosaurs (excluding the ...

Carnival Rides at a Disney Park?
Why is everyone so anti towards carnival rides at any Disney parks? Have you ever visited DinoLand U.S.A. in Animal Kingdom? Do you really believe that those carnival games and callers belong in a Disney Park? Is Primeval Whirl really the product of WDI? This "stuff" belongs at the local ...

TOONTOWN
[quote="David S."] Sadly, this will be Mickey's Toontown Fair's last Christmas to decorate the Houses for the Holidays (if TDO even bothered this year - I won't be back in O-town until Dec 28th so I haven't seen the MK yet since the Christmas decorations went up). [end quote] The Christmas...

CHARACTERS
I would disagree. I have seen numerous characters at "random" locations and defined meet and greet areas throughout the parks over the past few years. Granted some of the villians are not as frequent, but I have seen Jafar in Adventureland, for example. The Princess and the Frog characters...

Season Sets
So they are FINALLY releasing the Paul McGann movie from 1996!
Well here is another penny thrown into the wishing well.........I have always been hoping for the complete season sets of the "classic" series. Now how long will this one take?

HAUNTED MANSION
I liked the first installment of the Haunted Mansion. The story moved along and the special effects were good. The story line did somewhat remind me of the Clue game, as it was designed around a "who done it" mystery. The integration of the attraction's scenes was a welcomed addition, too....
