Yeah it really does! Which is kinda weird because from what I remember people didn't really care for the Broadway show's sets and costumes, so it's weird that it seems like they took so much artistic inspiration from the show.

He's made some great movies. His Superman movie is definitely one of the most important and influential superhero movies of all time, whose influence can still be seen in a lot of other beloved films of the genre. Even the MCU owes a lot to that movie and it's legacy.
