Re: Disney Animation on Blu-ray in 2018
Seems like Disney UK is releasing a complete box set of the entire WDAS canon on blu ray: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Disney-Classics-Complete-1937-2018-Blu-ray/dp/B07J5N2F9P Both Saludos Amigos and Three Caballeros are available on Blu-ray via DMC. No excuse why those two should be DVD only. Great id...

Re: Lasseter Sexually Assaulted Women
Before you people get all excited about John leaving, do you really think there's no one else at TWDC with skeletons in their closet? I wouldn't be surprised if more is to follow. And then there's the question of why Iger and the rest continued to let all of this happen, and what (if any) are their ...

Re: Disney in Talks to Buy Fox
I hope if Disney does buy 20th Century Fox, it's just for their large library. I want Fox to remain unchanged as a studio and distributor under Disney. They're doing decently enough and shouldn't be turned into Disney 2.0, with merely an emphasis on franchises and tentpoles. This is what would most...

SO glad they're continuing the series and giving us more unreleased titles! We should all buy it to encourage more of them.
I hope Sword in the Stone is next.

Re: Live-Action Aladdin in Development: Thoughts?
They also tried getting Will Smith for Dumbo, so there's no guarantee yet that he'll get the part, but obviously someone at Disney wants him for these live-action remakes.

Re: Live-Action Aladdin in Development: Thoughts?
The fact that he starred in any recent disney movie should be enough to disqualify him if you ask me. The fact that he played a shape shifter just makes it even worse. That doesn't seem to be a problem for Disney- in fact, they tend to do the reverse. It's almost like you can't sign onto just one p...

Re: Live-Action Aladdin in Development: Thoughts?
I feel like The Rock would be a better choice, and at this point, a bigger box office draw. Will Smith's popularity is not what it used to be.
But maybe it's too soon after Moana? He's also going to be in the Jungle Cruise movie.

Re: Disney Books in 2013-2017
there a re a number of Disney classic animated films that really need good or updated making of books. (Im not counting books that were part of dvd release box sets.) Fantasia-it has a very old one but it really needs a new version with better film stills Bambi-again an older book is available but ...

Is anyone struggling with this movie? Like, I wanna look forward to it, but when I think of the animated movie, I can't bring myself to. I'm having a hard time distancing them from each other. :( I'm worried the movie will be largely pointless, with bad CGI and terrible overproduced/auto tuned musi...

If they're making it a musical, than I would really like to have "High Adventure" included. Even if they have to change some of the lyrics in the event they don't use the characters of Aladdin's three friends.

Re: "Disneyland-Wonderful World of Color" digital purchase?!
A 42 minute TV episode to buy on itunes typically goes for $2.50 SD and $3.50 HD so $10 for one SD episode is indeed steep.
They should be listed as TV seasons under "The Wonderful World of Color" or "The Wonderful World of Disney" to make them easier to find.

I just checked, and they're on itunes too. $10 to buy, $4 to rent for each.
Hopefully Dr Syn and Disneyland Showtime will be made available too at some point.

The Strongest Man in the World DMC Blu-ray
The third film in the Dexter Riley trilogy is now available on Blu-ray through DMC. It's listed as a 40th Anniversary Edition, but I think that's two years too late.

Re: Moana
Still surprised Zootopia reached $1 billion. Watch Disney greenlight more Chicken Littles and less musical adventures instead of continuing with diversifying its brand. :? We've had three musical princess movies since PatF was released in 2009 and three more are in development, along with a BatB re...

Re: What's your favorite movie in the Disney Revival so far?
1. Big Hero 6 2. Frozen 3. Zootopia 4. Tangled 5. Moana 6. Wreck-It-Ralph Really my list is pretty meaningless because the difference between how much more I like Zootopia over Tangled is minimal and could switch depening upon my mood on a given day. I actually like them all pretty evenly, with the ...
