Slave2moonlight , yes, first I was intentionally polite, but then I felt I had to drop that in order to get through to you what was wrong with your picture, and in case you were deluding yourself. Something has happened to me in my life that may make it hard for me to be more careful with my words,...

Slave2moonlight , I can't imagine what I did that was worse than what others did except you misinterpreted the way I said it, but if you must, bring it. Duster, I am not trying to "bring" anything, I only want to help you out with some "constructive criticism" too, because the o...

Well, I was about to post a reply here, but someone is coming to pick me up, and you know I always reply with novels, so I'll have to do this later. For now, I will just say that, E.W., your work is amazing, as always, and I'm just wondering how, if I would take the time to make your suggested chang...

Disney's Divinity and Slave2moonlight ...if you thought I was snippy, tough, because I wasn't trying to be, I only spoke again just to make certain things clear. But you two seeing nothing wrong with the picture baffles me, like you're telling me the grass is blue. Okay, let me get into this one on...

I just have to get one thing clear. Well, too things. It wasn't just the on-modelness. Your picture looked...bad. Not completely. Just some bad spots. It just looked...not as well drawn as other things you have done. I don't get it when you drew the characters better in past things like those "...

Oh, god, really? I just accidentally clicked on the forum menu here out of habit (because I still read the home page here), and so I take a quick look, and finally people are coming into this thread? Well, I am not going to follow up on this, but my thanks to those who are finally visiting my thread...

I'd like to ask Luke to delete my art thread too. I didn't know that we could request that, but I'm leaving too and would appreciate it greatly.

Duster, you are determined to paint me a certain way. I take criticism on a regular basis, but I have come to know where/whom to take it from. I am not set out to make things on a model. I do not have model sheets, and this is not done for an animated film where multiple artists are trying to make e...

Saw Cabin in the Woods a second time. Rarely see movies in theaters more than once, so that says a lot about how much I loved it. Also, watched The Rapture last night. Here come the spoilers, if you haven't seen it. It's this Mimi Rogers film about a woman who in the beginning is a call center emplo...

This is my entry for the Dark Shadows Portrait contest over on DevinatArt.com. I rarely enter contests, but I'm a huge Dark Shadows fan, so I went for it this time.

The Belle picture, for the record, was a commission, so... weird or not, I am not the source of the concept, ha. I'm quite pleased with how they came out though, especially Belle. I'm not a big believer in the off/on model thing, not considering how different these characters can look from one scene...

I've mostly been busy with a webcomic gig and my own webcomic lately, but here are three things I did recently. First, this is the Easter basket I made for and gave to the girl I've been seeing. http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2012/088/e/7/happy_easter_basket_funtime_by_slave2moonlight-d4udnqn.png...

Re: Singin' in the Rain: 60th Anniversary UCE preorder!

But . . . but . . . your user name!!! :( ;) I knew someone was going to bring that up. lol. But that's actually an important point, though. I think you could ask someone what Mary Poppins' umbrella looked like in that film, and they could probably describe it accurately, but you don't remember Gene...

I've only owned this one on VHS, yet it's a favorite of mine too, so I'm psyched! I might not get the UCE version though, I don't know. I'll have to read up on it more when I have time.

That's pretty good animation for a television project. Unless this was a direct to video feature? Or even Toon Disney theatrical feature? Too bad this didn't happen. I REALLY like the pencil test. The little bit we know of it here makes me think of that new preschool series they have though, about t...

I can't say I 'liked" The Passion of the Christ but I found it moving and inspiring when I saw it. I enjoyed Apocalypto very much. Ah, yes, I seem to remember enjoying Apocalypto a lot also. As for Passion of the Christ, I found it to be a very good movie and not really like others describe it...

I remember it, but not well (plotwise). I can remember the look of John Silver and what a big to-do the Disney Channel made of it, that's all. I have always been a huge fan of Disney's original, so I very much would like to see this again.
