I'm pretty happy that Mike Gaimo is the art director on this film. In my opinion the story needs a mature style like he used on Pocahontas.


So if the character designs or overall style is anything like his Poca I'll be thrilled.

I think it's ridiculous that Disney has this huge library of films they could market and make profit out of, but choose to rehash the same movies over and over, it doesn't make sense to me from a business standpoint to not utilize all that you have in your arsenal.

At the time, at the Studio, they pretty much compared Rapunzel to Hunchback of Notre Dame. I think that, ultimately, the Studio found the right tone.
