I still say it's a glitch. I'll wait until a more credible source confirms something's been cut.

Are you absolutely sure that the scene is actually cut, and it's not a DVD glitch of some kind?

This is the first time I've heard about a cut, and frankly, this is how rumors tend to start

I hope Donald makes 2008, since outside of a few one-shots, the remaining ones are the only sizeable portion of Disney cartoons left to release. I'm probably in the minority on this one, but If Donald Vol. 4 is included, I'd really, really like to see the uncut Clock Cleaners on it as a special feat...

Considering how Disney has dropped Gargoyles like a hot potato, I honestly didn't expect these shows to make it this far, let along for Ducktales to get a Third Voulme. The first Talespin set was actually announced a while after the first Darkwing and Tick sets were announced so anything is possible...

If you can remember When the issue of the censored Tom and JerrySpotlight Collection DVD's first broke out (or more specifically, when it escelated in Spring 2005, due to Warner Bros. giving a vague, unsatisfactory reason for the censored DVD's), many people on The HomeTheaterForum and other forums ...

About the inconsistant Running times, i have a friend on Toon Zone who tells me that Many of the Fox Kids shows from the Tick's era lacked uniformity in their episode lengths, so the differences in running times could be chalked up to that. While Someone would need to compare the DVD verisons to the...

I haven't seen Cars yet, but on the GAC forums, someone posted an article relevant to the movie: something i like to cal "People with too much time on their hands strike again" http://www.suntimes.com/output/news/cst-nws-cars24.html The worst part of it is: they're pushing for Disney to Ed...

Since Donald in Mathemagic Land was nominated for an Oscar (albeit not in the Animated Short Subjects category), i would srumise it would be offered in ITunes's oscar winning-Disney shorts promotion, and the DVd Box Set Jerry Beck alluded to.

If Disney plans on doing more tick sets, Maybe they could go the Spongebob Route for the missing episode (The first Spongebob Epsiode was omitted from the first Season set of that cartoon, for legal reasons not unlike what's going with the Tick, but Paramount was able to clear the rights and include...

Aside from the banned episode mentioned eariler, a bunch of "Gas gun" sequences and other acts of "violence" were cut out from the originial Darkwing Duck episodes when they were rerun on Toon Disney after 2001 (The consensus is that the edits were made in the aftermath of 9/11, ...

I was kind of perturbed my the 3-month gap between the first wave of Itunes shorts and the second wave. Oh, well.

I'm still interested in that Oscar Shorts DVD Box set that's planned for the summer. I wonder if that's still a go.

Disney and Ipod inquiry?

As many of you know, Disney started making it's Oscar Winning and Nominated Shorts available on ITunes last January. However, no news has been divulged since the news was first released first 10 were released. What Happened? Will this affect the DVD Box Set sheduled for the summer?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Edge Enhancement/Haloing in the recently-released Howl's Moving Castle in this thread , pehaps ones of the most blatant quality snafus done in a Disney DVD. That having been said, i'd say The Dimishing Quality in Disney's DVD's could be a combination of both La...

I knew, i just KNEW Disney was going to pull off something like this, i was just hoping they would prove me wrong. Unless Dumbo's "remastered" picture quality is comparable to that of Bambi or Cinderella, then i won't be buying this pointless double dip. I have an uneasy feeling that this ...

Sadly, It looks like Disney's Evil Empire moniker is just as valid now as it was when Eisner was running things. On a completely irrelevant rant, Buena Vista Home video desperately needs a complete clean-house overhaul. The Anti-Only Yesterday people at BVHV need to go the way of the 2D animatora, a...

While we're at it, we might as well kiss any chance of seeing Ghibli's Only Yesterday released here goodbye.
