Looking for slipcovers..

Does anyone have slipcovers for The Princess and the Frog (three-disc Blu-ray/DVD/digital copy combo from 2010) and the Pixar Short Films Collection Vol. 1 (Blu-ray/DVD combo from 2011) they'd be willing to part ways with?

Question about Disney Blu-rays and slipcovers

I was planning on upgrading a lot of my Disney and Pixar animated titles to Blu-rays [and in some cases, Blu-ray 3Ds] soon. I can easily use Amazon for that. But I've had a small problem with Amazon in the past: a lack of slipcovers on certain titles. I've purchased some older Blu-rays recently ( Ir...

Guardians ' reviews are rather mixed. I'd say it's probably out of the running. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/rise_of_the_guardians_2012/ So now I'll say: ParaNorman Frakenweenie Wreck-It Ralph The Pirates! might have a chance, I think it definitely has more of an advantage over Brave but surely ...

Based on what's been released so far, I think for now the nominees are looking to be: The Pirates! Band of Misfits Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted Brave ParaNorman Frankenweenie If Wreck-It Ralph and Rise of the Guardians deliver, then Brave and Madagascar will likely be out of the running. For t...

Can't wait for this on video...definitely one of my favorites of 2012. I imagine we'll get this by February/March? The French Blu-ray comes out at the end of February and it opens there on Halloween. If that gap between theaters and Blu-ray is the same here, we're looking at January release in the ...

So if my guesses are right, this will have Your Friend, the Rat Presto BURN-E Partly Cloudy Dug's Special Mission Day & Night Hawaiian Vacation Small Fry La Luna Partysaurus Rex will likely be included and The Legend of Mor’du is possible but I'm intrigued what the other shorts might be. Tokyo M...

From a marketing standpoint, the fact that Disney would have a movie out parents can take the little ankle-biters to over Thanksgiving and winter break probably makes for perfect timing. I always assumed Lion King coming out in the summer had to do with it's production problems and not so much "...

Question about Paramount's gray DVD labels

Yesterday, I finally bought Flushed Away out of the $5 bin at Wal-Mart after holding off for years to replace my pan-and-scan copy with a widescreen copy. I'm aware that Paramount/DreamWorks have been releasing older DWA films with very generic packaging that I'm not a fan of and removing the disc a...

Hmmmm... no Blu-ray release of Who Framed Roger Rabbit yet? I guess Disney has plans for that one bigger than these catalog releases.

Though I will buy the Ed Wood Blu-ray at least. No doubt in my mind about that.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (needlessly complex and convoluted, just like the other movies in this franchise) Cars 2 (not as bad as Pirates, but the fact that Pixar made a below average film disappoints me) Winnie the Pooh (this I enjoyed! Beautiful animation, hilarious script, ear w...

Yeah, there is more than enough for a Vol. 2 for perhaps 2013. It would likely have: Your Friend the Rat Presto BURN-E Tokyo Mater (it did get a theater release after all) Partly Cloudy Dug's Special Mission Day & Night Toy Story Toons: Hawaiian Vacation Air Mater (if it's not a "Mater's Ta...

The inability of Disney to retain their original logos pisses me off to no end. They couldn't even do it with the DVD, where the black and orange logo was used, instead of the blue and white one. At least that one had the Frank Wells dedication intact. Though I do think that was relegated to the ba...

Pocahontas - A VERY good soundtrack. - Ratcliffe is awesome. David Ogden Stiers did an impeccable job with this character. He's also great with Wiggins, especially when you realize Stiers is basically talking to himself. - Meeko, Flit and Percy are hilarious even if they are really out-of-place wit...

I can't really made predictions for this category yet considering we have many more animated movies this upcoming holiday season. Of all of this year's animated movies so far, I'd say Winnie the Pooh , Rango and Kung Fu Panda 2 have the most likelihood to get nominated. Rio will unfortunately likely...

This is great news for me! I'll finally be able to sell off that stupidly large Ultimate Toy Box trilogy set to buy these editions, they'll take up a lot less shelf space for all the same material - plus the 3D versions. :)

Excited for Bolt, that was the first animated movie I saw in digital 3D so that'll be great, but what's with the lack of Up and Toy Story trilogy? It's getting really frustrating that the year Pixar makes a truly below average film is the year 3D Blu-ray starts making real progress.

If I had to guess, probably.
