I'm guessing you can always add more ... it's never quite complete. But in a way I'm guessing it's the limitations of DVDs that make em drop a lot of things. LD was a collector's thingy, dvds can be too, but Disney seems unwilling to release e.g. a standard release for those people who don't care ab...

I guess our definitions of "perfect" aren't compatible. :) Funny you should say you had problems with Jungle Book ... this aspect ratio thing is a black'n'white thingy ... either you matte or either you don't. Matting a little less then 1.75:1 or just a little more is also deviating from t...

While I don't like the matted widescreen transfers one bit I do see some difference between e.g. Jungle Book and Robin Hood. Both may have been screened matted, but when I look at comparisons it's pretty obvious Jungle book feels cramped in a lot more cases then Robin Hood. In a way that ain't all t...

If they want to respect the original theatrical aspect ratio things get even more complicated. The preferred format in Europe at the time was 1.66:1 ... not 1.75:1, meaning there was a bit more visibe at the top and the bottom ... somehow I doubt they'll be releasing 3 different versions of the movi...

I buy DVD's because of the movie (in the best possible quality), not because of the extras (nice to have but worthless if the actual movie transfer sucks bigtime ... nice way to mask the defacts though from a commercial point of view). I'll probably pick it up once it drops in price, but not at the ...

Take a look at the gray and unnatural skin tones. I said the same thing about the 007 Ultimate Editions and people thought I was crazy ... As for the Technicolor thing ... if they know what they are doing at all that should be easy enough to "recreate". If they have the Technicolor negati...

after all the first 2 editions seems to have negative deterioration issue by age where everything became reddish n yellow. And after a while we kind off thought that had to be the way it was meant to look, when all we ever saw was a bad copy ... but the 2003 edition is indeed very close to the (sur...

Simple answer: No. They could have released the SE as a PE and no one would have known the difference. That and the fact the PE label is an R1-only thing anyway. I don't really care what they call it as long as it has the content ... Sleeping Beauty had it, as did movies like Tarzan and Atlantis, wh...

Of course I'll do covers for them ... but it takes time to do these covers, not to mention to accumulate the necessary resources.

By the way ... you forgot Hunchback & Hercules ... still need to do those too. Resources are a big problem for the remaining 13 so it just takes more time ...

PowerDVD (for the actual screencaps) and lots of trial and error in Photoshop to make it all fit. Some screencaps had to be rescaled, others needed some manual correction (imagine a leaf falling while the background is moving, if left uncorrected you'd have the extended background + 2 leaves)

GOLLY! I wish I could do that good! You even used taglines seen on old movie posters, too. One recommendation: on the Pinocchio DVD, you should replace "When You Wish Upon A Star" with "For Anyone Who Has Ever Wished Upon A Star". Also, where's Belgica? That's what I originally ...
