There seems to be less product coming out now, especially since they abandoned the direct-to-DVD sequels mostly(which admittedly, is probably a good thing). Judd Apatow made one brilliant movie this summer. This wasn't it.

Haven't had many good reasons for one lately. I'm sure there'll be one for the summer movie season at the end of the summer.

Lady Tremaine and Frollo

Something about them, that quiet, insidious evil, makes me think they'd be really scary together.

Pan's Labyrinth. Best movie of the year, and a rare case of me rooting for the underdog.

My favorite movie of the last year was Thank You For Smoking. I wanted a final three of Cars, Pan's, and Pirates. Almost got it.
