Re: Absent Minded Professor
Nevermind. I see The Absent-Minded Professor listed as the new exclusive. It does NOT include Son of Flubber.

Re: Shorts Missing from the Treasures Series
Humphrey shorts are on the rarities treasure.
The focus of the treasures series has really been the Walt era. Generally speaking, post-Walt shorts have not been released.

Re: Disney Animation on Blu-ray in 2015
Tonight I discovered The Three Caballeros Collection seems to be out of print. It is no longer carried by amazon and the Disney Store. All this suggests we should see a bluray before long.

Re: 2 new DMC EXCLUSIVES 6-23-15
For anyone who is interested, I received these films the other day and had a chance to watch at least part of these films. Monte Carlo is listed as 1.66:1 and upon watching the film, the description seems accurate. Bananas is listed as 1.85:1 and also seems to be correct. I agree with others that I ...

Re: Disney Movie Club Blu-ray Exclusives?
I received the two new blu-rays today. I am watching TCWT and the picture looks amazing. However, on TADG the wonderful bonus features that were on the DVD have ALL been dropped. Neither blu-ray has any bonus features.

Re: Disney Animation on Blu-ray in 2014
I received my copy of Ichabod/Fancy Free and I am in total shock. Not only does the picture look fantastic but the version of The Reluctant Dragon included is the feature length film instead of the short. I am very impressed.

I noticed Amazon listed the film as 117 minutes in length. I'm not sure where they got their information from. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Re: A Complete Collection
I guess I could take the opportunity to brag, although I am also a lot older than most of you. I have had all the feature animation films for several years now. I have upgraded all my DVDs to Blu-ray with the exception of Sleeping Beauty (which I have purchased twice on DVD). I also have all the the...

Re: Disney Animation on Blu-ray in 2014
Tarzan and Hercules together? That seemed unexpected. I don't think it was suggesting they would be packaged together. I think they were saying both Tarzan and also Hercules are soon to be released. I initially assumed it was just Hercules that would have a 2-pack, meaning it would include the Herc...

Re: Disney Animation on Blu-ray in 2014
I hope I am not replicating anything that has already been said, but I think I discovered something new and important. I realize that several places online have suggested in impending release of Hercules and Tarzan, but as far as I can tell, this previously hasn't been confirmed by Disney. I am in t...

Re: A Country Coyote Goes Hollywood: new Exclusive title
I wanted to clarify something about this particular title. Although it was an episode on Wonderful World of Color in December 1965 and so an introduction should exist, this film was initially theatrically released with Those Calloways in January of 1965. So I don't consider it such an atrocity if th...

I meant to post this months ago, but I guess this is better late than never. On my copy of Almost Angels, the sound is really weird during the 25th minute. It seems like the the sound on the master was damaged. The picture also does some funny things. I was just wondering if this was true with other...

We were broke this summer, so we didn't watch this in the theatres, but someone gave me a gift the other day from Best Buy so I was able to exchange the gift for a copy of this film. I agree with everyone else here: this is a fantastic film. I would like to say that the nursery in our house was alre...

I finally got a chance to watch my new copy of Westward Ho! The Wagons last night. The case indicated the film was approximately 90 minutes. This concurs with The Disney Flims. The song Wringle, Wrangle was certainly included. If anyone wants me to, I can double check on the DVD player that the film...

The government did pay the studio, if they hadn't I don't Disney could have survived the loss of their European markets due to the war. I believe the government paid Walt to make the cartoons, but Walt spent more on the cartoons then he received from the government. Walt perfectionism made it impos...

I am definitely a completist. I have all 49 DACs. When it comes to double dipping, I make the decision based on the ultimatedisney review. So I have 2 copies of The Black Cauldron, Dumbo, Aristocats, Robin Hood, and others. When it comes to live-action, I started by buying all the live-action featur...

I am not expecting anyone to necessarily agree with me, but it made sense to me that I should throw my conclusion out there because I st...
