Zooey Deschanel sings a new version of the Pooh theme. Mmmmmmmmmm.......Zooey Deschanel! Anyway, I saw the trailer and I'm looking forward to it. I'm in a strange Winnie the Pooh mood recently, so I'm looking forward to the movie. It's actually my most anticipated movie in 2011(so far). I have to a...

Finally. Was hoping this would get released before Tron Legacy but oh well.

Hope the "changes" aren't major. If so, they should follow Blade Runner's release.

Tangled Movie Discount...

I have the Walmart Tangled exclusive, since I have no desire of seeing it, I'm sure I'll find someone here who wants it.

I'd be willing to trade for the Toy Story 3 coupon(from Best Buy).

As for the movie, while it'd make sense to put a 16:9-enhanced or, probably more accurately, unmatted 1.33:1 version out there, I get the feeling that Pixar is embarrassed to have their names on that. But it was a pilot to one of the most kick-ass television shows Disney's ever put their name on! :...

Well, we finally got a press release which can be read here. While some great features, seeing that we got a feature on the Hong Kong playland, why no feature of Toy Story Mania? Or even Buzz Lightyear's AstroBlasters? Also disappointing(but expected) to see no feature on the Buzz Lightyear show or ...

This could be a potential way to how Song of the South would get released, and its going to be according to Jim Hill. Then again, according to Jim Hill, we were also getting a 60th Anniversary release of Song of the South DVD. Unless they do release that or I ever get tempted to buy a movie with a p...

Nice review Aaron! What I liked about your reviews even above some of the others here is that is clearly lists in specifics all of the bonus material we're missing, even going as far as including the laser-disc features that still haven't made it on DVD! It saves us from extra research. I'm definite...

Well, you can buy this which has the two songs from Toy Story 3 as well as 4 songs from the previous two movies.

Too bad CDs are getting harder to come buy, but it makes sense in this economy as many people aren't really interested in scores.

Re: Beauty and the Beast: Diamond Edition

But I can only assume, being as the filmmakers have been involved in both the IMAX re-release, the original DVD release and the 3D re-release, they are perfectly happy with the colours each time. So we should be too. I'm not choosing any sides really, but by that account, we should be happy with Lu...

Sorry to be pessimistic but I see no future at all! the classics are dead! 2D is dead! I pretty much agree. As I see it, hand-drawn animation has basically become what black-and-white films have become. There will always be a place for classics like Snow White and The Lion King the same way there's...

Okay I gotta say it, I feel a video game (Joe Jump) is not a very Disney subject. I feel something like Fraidy Cat is, I feel anything organic dealing with real life or books which are about real life is, but not a video game. You can try to explain against it all you want but I'm sure you all feel...

I'm most interested in the fact that it bears the Touchstone logo, making it the first animated film since Nightmare Before Christmas to do that. Why exactly? Because there's "questionable" content? Or because Lasseter doesn't like it and doesn't want people associating this with "the...

When You Wish Upon A Star being played at the climax at Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind immediately comes to mind.

I know this isn't what you were looking for, but the ending of Full Metal Jacket is particularly haunting.

I'd like to see a few more references to the ride then there've been in the last two sequels. At World's End had some pretty good ones. Dead Man's Chest had almost none, besides COTBP deleted scenes and the bayou (which was amazing). There are so many great scenes and moments from the ride that cou...

While the packaging is pretty, I really don't see Disney's obsession with digital copies, especially considering most laptops can play DVDs. Like Disney doesn't think their fans are particularly smart. I sadly never got around to buying the Toy Story movies on Blu-Ray, mostly because I figured they'...

Seriously, though. Can't Disney just not re-release their sequels? They've come close to completely ruining their reputation, so why bring them out again? People still buy them though, so financially, they don't really hurt the company. Frankly, television and even our beloved Pixar are more...
