well i just saw the trailer on the mulan se and i don't think i'd like it... in my opinion, mickey and co just don't look right in 3d-animation, at least not in this feature. and then, of course, i have in mind that it's probably just another weak attempt in getting money out of everyones pockets wi...

They also sent me a slip for Beauty and the Beast. Not to Germany, but to a friend's address in the states.
I'd just email them and ask:

Doesn't hurt and doesn't cost anything.

the Soundtrack

as for the soundtrack: I know we had some information in this thread here, but what's this extra DVD gonna be? (mentioned at amazon.com)
Is there an online store where I could get it cheaper than at amazon? I should have ordered when it was down at about $10... :x

This one is beautiful but I prefer my actual cover of Beauty and the Beast ! ;) http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/B00006AGKD.08.LZZZZZZZ.jpg Definately! That's one cover! The French really do have great cover art (Sleeping Beauty was great, too!) @ MickeyMouseboy : I actually saved the jpg in th...

hey thanks, as for the titles on the spine: it's really a total mess over here in Germany. Even DVDs from the same studio don't have them in the same direction/position. I checked my Disney DVDs and apart from the German Snow White all fo the others (German or US) have the spine in the other directi...

Alternative DVD cover for Beauty and the Beast

Hi Disney-Freaks and fans, finally got my Beauty and the Beast cover finished and uploaded. I didn't like the cover when I got my RC1 disc, so I tried to make one myself. I got it on my webspace which is accessible until the end of October. I'm not gonna be doing any Emailing because I've only got a...

Hi guys, SleepingBeauty was new for me, too. Just remembered some pictures from an old Disney-book I had as a kid, but I really like the movie. I think the "problem" with it is that it's a very artistic movie, not to forget the classical score (they don't even have much dialogue). That's s...

nobody interested in Season-boxes of the show itself??
And, of course, a 16:9 version of the Christmas Carol would be nice.

could someone post a picture of the Beauty and the Beast slipcover?
I preordered mine at amazon.com back then and it arrived just a plain DVD-case. :(

the ones I first thought of are Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Robin Hood. Oh yeah, and Sword in the Stone.
I was really young then. I also had tapes of Cinerella and Alice, but I didn't watch those too often. I remember that I was very fascinated by all that moving stuff in Bedknobs.

well I like it (although I'd prefer the non-revised version). It's a nice cover and if it's gonna be a slipcase or metallic look or whatever it's gonna be even better. We'll all see in December ;) But most of all we should be glad that they didn't come up with crap like they did for Beauty and the B...

I count six. There's only one English DD 5.1 track, and that's the HT remix one. Still a lot of tracks, and there's other stuff on Disc 1, and the movie's kind of long. But I don't doubt it will look great. Offhand, Beauty and the Beast may be the only DVD where I think excessive compression result...

Would have loved, however, to also have the Vanessa Mae-music video of Reflection on the disc.

trailer on disney-home

Hey guys, just watched the DVD-trailer on http://disneyvideos.disney.go.com/moviefinder/products/3116703.html and I must say it looks great! The picture seems to be perfect (well, sure, it should be on a digitally remastered anniversary disc...), especially scenes where they combined live-action wit...
